Detail

Prerequisite Knowledge Completion of ASA101 is required, and it is recommended
to have accumulated at least 24 hours of on-water sailing experience before
participating in ASA103.

Course Objectives

Develop the ability to handle daytime winds (0-20 knots, i.e., Beaufort scale 0-5) and sea conditions while operating a 25'-35' keelboat with either an inboard or outboard auxiliary engine.

Course Overview - Learn skills for handling daytime wind and sea conditions while operating a 25'-35' keelboat with either an inboard or outboard auxiliary engine.
 - Master cruising sailboat terminology, basic sailboat systems, engine operation, docking procedures, intermediate sailing skills, navigation rules, basic coastal navigation, anchoring, meteorology, safety, and seamanship.
Class Size Small class size (5-6 people) with full-time instruction.
Location Kaohsiung Port or Anping Port.
Assessment and Certification Upon successful completion, you will receive the
official ASA logbook signed by the ASA-certified school instructor, ASA 103
certification sticker, and one year of ASA membership.
