| Course Overview |
- Daytime wind conditions and sea states, learning to maneuver 20' - 27' single-masted keel sailboats.
- Learning basic nautical terms, sailboat components and functions, helm commands, basic sail trimming skills, sailboat heading control, buoy identification, seamanship skills, and navigation safety, including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards; no need to operate auxiliary power engines.
